Craig Shoemaker - Founder/CEO

Craig Shoemaker is a modern day renaissance man, with a show business career spanning over three decades as a stand up comedian, actor, author, writer and producer. He was named Comedian of the Year at The American Comedy Awards on ABC and garnered two NATAS Emmy awards. His 90 minute stand up special Daditude, aired prime time on SHOWTIME Network and was on the front page on Netflix for several months. “Shoe’s” stage, film and TV acting credits are extensive and wide ranging. Recently, he co-stars as Bandit in the critically acclaimed movie, Middle Man. He recurred as the character Wilson Gromling, the head of Pawnee’s Liberty or Die Party, on NBC’s Parks & Recreation, and had a five episode run on The Bold & The Beautiful. 

As a producer Craig has been a creative force in several independent features and television shows. He wrote, produced and started in the cult classic Totally Baked, distributed by Universal, and his movie The LoveMaster, won the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. Currently Craig is producing a number of feature films in association with European partners, including the soon-to-be-released, Working with Warhol, and two projects in production, Breakfast with Charly and The Boogeyman Chronicles. 

As a writer Craig was called in to join the writing staff for season two of the iconic sitcom Fuller House. His best selling book, LoveMaster’d – A Digital Journey to Love & Happiness, is critically acclaimed by the likes of Whoopi Goldberg and Dr. Drew Pinsky, inspiring readers worldwide in managing through personal difficulties.

Ryan O'Quinn - Producer

Ryan O’Quinn is a twenty-two year veteran of the entertainment industry and president of Damascus Road Productions, a production company dedicated to high quality family entertainment with a positive message. He has created, produced and starred in content across all mediums since 1996. Sony Pictures’ “BELIEVE”, produced by and starring O’Quinn was named “2016 Christian Film of the Year” by The Christian Film Review and took top honors at
a ceremony in 2017.

In October 2016 O’Quinn signed a distribution deal with Overbrook Entertainment (Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith) via their output deal at Sony Pictures and he currently oversees faith and family development and acquisition. O’Quinn began his career in Hollywood as an actor and was represented by the William Morris Agency and acclaimed talent manager Ross Brown. Brown’s client roster included only nine other select clients including Peter O’Toole, Paul Rudd, John Hamm and Julie Christie. In the 2000s O’Quinn experienced success primarily in episodic and sitcom television including memorable roles on Beverly Hills 90210, Alias, JAG and ER. His first two feature films were Tom Hanks’ directorial debut, That Thing You Do and Sony’s iconic Starship Troopers directed by Paul Verhoeven.

In 2003 O’Quinn began headlining large-platform comedy events and became familiar to mega-church and family audiences around the country as a highly sought after speaker, author and improv comedian. He was the face of LifeWay’s Fuel program and co-wrote and starred in 58 episodes of the series that was distributed by the largest publisher of Christian resource material in the world.

He was also a host and emcee of “Disney’s Night of Joy” that saw attendances upwards of 25,000 nightly, a host of Willow Creek’s Global Leadership Summit broadcast around the world and a barrage of high profile music tours, concert events and conferences. As a co-founder of DadDudes, a production entity focused on family comedy content, O’Quinn found fame as a viral video star with the release of Dads Respond to Disney’s ‘Frozen’. He was named YouTube Star of the Month, YouTube Star of the Moment and became a regular contributor on Fox and Friends as a parenting expert and comedic addition to the Saturday morning program. Buzzfeed named O’Quinn among the “Top Parents of the Year that Made us Laugh” and the video was named #1 comedy video of the year by a variety of outlets. O’Quinn authored the #1 best-selling book Parenting Rules: The Hilarious Handbook for Surviving Parenthood which reached number one in six Amazon categories including “Fastest-selling”, “Parenting”, “Parenting Humor” and “Relationships”. It was also the #3 overall best-selling humor book on Amazon behind John Cleese and Amy Poehler in December 2014.

The book is currently optioned for a half-hour sitcom by Dean Holland, Emmy-winning Executive Producer of The Office, Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Love, The Good Place, Splitting Up Together. He followed up with a second book, the acclaimed Marriage Rules: The Hilarious Handbook for Surviving Marriage that was released the following year. O’Quinn’s everyman approach to comedy gave him a unique voice to say exactly what most people were thinking in a family-friendly way and made him a favorite among media outlets including television and radio stations that have licensed his brand of content around the world.

O’Quinn has been named brand ambassador for a series of campaigns including Disney’s “Hello Airtime” product that provides parental content filtering for smartphones, a spokesperson for Chick-fil-A’s Waffle Wednesday campaign and the face of Back-to-Family Games’ line of products including apps and board games.

Presently O’Quinn’s Damascus Road Productions has 14 titles in development and 7 in post-production. Three features have been greenlit for distribution in 2018 and 2019 via Smith Global Media / Sony and he is developing a series starring Tank Jones, Patrick Muldoon and Denise
Richards. He will next be seen alongside Romany Malco in the comedy Prison Logic and has been cast in the upcoming feature films Roadkill McGillicutty, The Translator, Ticket to Nashville, and Providence.

Graham Elwood - Director

Graham Elwood is a national touring headliner and co-host of the Comedy Film Nerds podcast. He has been in Last Comic Standing on NBC, the Sarah Silverman Program, and Nick Swarsden's Pretend Time on Comedy Central. Also co-star of Doug Benson's The Greatest Movie Ever Rolled. Co-creator of the Los Angles Podcast Festival. Has done 7 USO tours to Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. Director of feature film “Ear Buds: The Podcasting Documentary,” which was released in fall of 2016.

Bob Whitmore - Producer

Robert Whitmore has been an executive in various entertainment industry companies and has led an array of entertainment industry initiatives.  He produced  the stage play entitled "Lyndon" starring Jack Klugman which opened at the Kennedy Center and was subsequently aired on PBS starring John Lithgow.  Under exclusive contract with Cine-Source, Inc., Mr. Whitmore was supervising producer of "Texasville," the sequel to the "Last Picture Show" distributed by Columbia Pictures directed by Peter Bogdanovich, starring Jeff Bridges and Cybil Shepherd.  Prior to that, Mr. Whitmore was a television development producer for Warner Brothers Television. As an independent producer, he served as Executive Producer of the feature film entitled "Runaway Train" starring Jon Voight, Eric Roberts and Rebecca DeMornay. The film received three Academy Award Nominations and a Golden Globe Award.  Mr. Whitmore is co-founder NTECH Properties, Inc. and VuShaper LLC which have introduced an Emmy Award-winning personalized digital video-delivery technology.

David Groves - Advisory Board

David Groves has BS in Finance and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.  His experience includes more than 20 years of Business Development and Management in the fields of medical devices, consulting and technology.   Currently, David is the CEO of SynTouch, Inc., a world leader in the science of human touch and serves on the board of advisors of Seqonce Biosciences; a start-up genomics company.  While trekking in the Himalayas, David and his Sherpa conceived and founded a medical clinic that now serves hundreds of patients per year in the Everest region of Nepal.   David is a life-long fan of stand-up comedy and we are very pleased to have him on our Advisory Board.
